Now, let’s dive into the Top 5 WP plugins in 2021.

1. Rank Math

Rank math is a free plugin that allows you to index your website in Google search results. Rank math plugin enjoys great popularity. It enables you to submit your website to the Google Search Console and also optimize your pages and posts for SEO.

Rank math has a lot of features that are out of the box. I’ve also noticed that Yoast has slowed down some of my websites. I feel like it’s a little bit bloated.  They’re really salesy. They want you to upgrade to the premium version.

I just feel like a lot more comes out of the box with Rank Math. And I feel like it’s a little bit more user-friendly and intuitive too. So as you create blog posts you can put in for example multiple keywords. For example, let’s say I’m writing a blog post on dog grooming. With Yoast, you could only put in “grooming”. And now with Rank Math, I really like that you can put in multiple focus keywords for that specific blog post.

So I’m finding that I actually prefer this a lot more. I still use Yoast on some websites. However, I’m starting to use Rank Math more and more.

2. Manage WP

Manage WP allows you to manage multiple WordPress installs from one main dashboard. It’s so great because I’ve got over 80 clients right now. And when I have to go in and update all the different plugins and do backups it would be really tedious to log into every single one of these websites and click update. I just don’t have the time for that.

Manage WP is free. It does monthly backups. And the nice thing is that it remembers all the passwords for you so you don’t have to ever log into another WordPress website ever again with a username and a password.

It is especially great if you are too busy and think “Who can do my java homework for me?”

With one click I can just do all the job and it’ll update all of the plugins for me. You should be careful with this too because sometimes updating WordPress plugins may lead to errors on your site. So you make sure you check your website once you do updates.

So with all of my clients, I do this once a month or so on average. I update all the plugins, check everything, etc. Without this plugin, it would take so much longer to do everything.

So I highly recommend this one.

3. WordPress Popular Posts

I really like this plugin. It’s very simple. WordPress Popular Posts doesn’t really do much

aside from just showing you which are your most popular posts. And the reason I like this plugin. It shows an easy dashboard on which posts are getting the most amount of traffic.

So if I click on WordPress popular posts and then choose the last 30 days, it shows me all my hills and valleys in terms of traffic. That’s really handy.

4. Word Fence

I do not set up a single WordPress website without this plugin. WordPress has so many

vulnerabilities and hacks. It’s ridiculous. However, I have not been hacked not even once as long as I’ve had this Word Fence plugin.

So you can protect your site from any kind of messages like “write my java program for me”. It does so many different things that protect your website.

Whenever I don’t install this plugin then I get hacked pretty regularly. So I highly recommend Word Fence.

5. Updraft Backup

I really like this plug-in. It’s really great. There’s a ton of installations. There are many great reviews. The reason I love Updraft Backup is because it’s automated. It’s super easy and I don’t have to think about it.

Moreover, you can back up to multiple different sources. So you can back up to Amazon s3 bucket or you can back up to a Google Drive. You can back up to FTP. You can customize it to your heart’s content.

Have no time for backups thinking “Who can do my java homework?”, check DoMyAssignments.com.

You can do daily backups, weekly backups, monthly backups. If you use Manage WP that I mentioned earlier, they do backups but they only do it on a monthly basis. It’s free which is great but they only do it once per month.

On the other hand, you can configure Updraft Backup to do backups for you as frequently as you need.
